Oreo Cake Recipe - ft. Brinsee Antao

Hello friends once again I am back with my second blog on’’ Oreo Cake Recipe’ ’I’m Brinsee Antao your foodie friend & a baker.

When it comes to Oreo biscuits who doesn’t love them. I can say Oreo biscuits are a perfect package for desserts, cakes etc…. As I said Oreo cake is loved by everyone but you won’t believe it my Pug too loves it. I know it’s not good for dogs because of coco content in it.

It so happened that last year on 25th April 2019 we bought a new member to our family and named him Murphy. Since it was a year we bought him, we decided to celebrate his 1st birthday on 25th April 2020. My family loves pets, hence we treat them like our family. Our dogs protect us and love us unconditionally without expecting anything in return. So why not returning the favour by making them feel special? Therefore, this special blog is dedicated to my pet Murphy.

MURPHY’S first birthday

3 packets of Oreo biscuits (120gm each)
3Tbsp cocoa powder (The BLUE Ingredient Co.)
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
2-3 Tbsp. caster sugar
1 egg
1 -1/2 cup milk (use as required)

Grind the Oreo biscuits without removing the cream and form a fine powder.in a mixing bowl add the grinded Oreo biscuits powder and caster sugar give it a good mix. Sieve the cocoa powder with baking powder and baking soda. Once again give it a good mix.
In a separate bowl add 1 cup milk and crack the egg in it and whisk it. Add this liquid to the dry ingredients and give a nice whisk until you get a thin yet thick batter. If your batter gets thick add the remaining milk slowly n mix it well.
Pour the batter into a lined baking tin and put to bake in a preheated oven for about 35 to 45 minutes at 180%C until the cake comes out clean. Once the cake is done let it cool down completely before frosting the cake and decorate the cake as per your choice.
