Recipe for Scoopable Hotdog Bun


  • DONUT MIX - 700g (Buy Now)
  • Shortening / Butter - 50g
  • Chilled Water - 350g
  • Dry Yeast - 11g


  • Take DONUT MIX, yeast and shortening in a mixer
  • Prepare dough by adding water slowly and kneading for about 10 mins
  • Sheet thru sheeter / roller-pin of ~20mm
  • Cut in shape of hot-dog
  • Proof to double the thickness to ~40mm
  • Bake in preheated oven at 220 °C for 12 mins
